By booking our services or accepting a quotation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to make everything clear and fair for both parties.

 

1. Quotations & Estimates

• All quotations are free and valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are based on the information provided and may change if the scope of work or materials required changes.
• Any alterations or additional work requested by the customer after the quote has been accepted may result in additional costs.

 

2. Booking & Deposits

• A deposit may be required to secure a booking or to cover materials.
• Work will only be scheduled once the deposit (if applicable) has been received.
• Deposits are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or work has started.

 

3. Payments

• The balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or other agreed method.

 

4. Cancellations & Delays

• If you need to cancel or postpone your booking, please give at least 48 hours’ notice.
• We will always aim to complete work within agreed timeframes, but delays may occur due to weather, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
• We will communicate promptly if any delay occurs and agree a revised schedule where necessary.

 

5. Workmanship Guarantee

• All work carried out by JP Carpentry & Roofing is completed to a high professional standard.
• Workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion, unless otherwise stated.
• New tiled, slate, or flat roofs installed by JP Carpentry & Roofing are covered by a 5-year workmanship guarantee.
• All materials are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
• This guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, poor maintenance, severe weather conditions, or work carried out by others after completion.

 

6. Site Access & Responsibility

• The customer must ensure clear, safe access to the work area throughout the project.
• JP Carpentry & Roofing will take all reasonable care to protect your property, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues beyond our control.
• Waste removal can be arranged as agreed within the quotation.

 

7. Liability

• JP Carpentry & Roofing holds full public liability insurance for all work undertaken.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or accidental damage arising from our work, unless caused by negligence.

 

8. Privacy

• Any personal information shared with us (such as contact details) is used solely for communication and project purposes.
• We never share your details with third parties.
